WITNESSING A POETRY OF EXPERIENCE
OF THINGS IN AND OF THEMSELVES.
To explore a phenomenology of sound is the act of deep listening.
Beyond the audible range is the threshold of feeling. The canvas of stillness is never empty, with latent energies that wait to be unleashed by some form of communication. This diaphanous realm is where the primordial forces of intentionality original to music-making ventures could be said to stem from.
Tuning is THE fundamental musical act.
The path towards peace is the search for a resting place in everything, where maximal consonance lives for all elements; sometimes indescribable, but always approachable by seeking infinite diversity in infinite combinations. Beauty rests there.
Thus, there exists some perpetual invitation to turn inwards at a keyboard, and reconnect with some observer which is springing from our consciousness in every second. It becomes a mirror of us. The beauty perceived was already within ourselves, and the piano helps us to touch that beauty.
My life has been dedicated to forming that sound, in time.
