We have three P202s, and they tune smoothly. Still, they’re relatively short studio uprights (shorter than the Hamiltons) with even more foreshortened speaking lengths in the low tenor and bass. I keep thinking that the weaker hybrid wire drawn in France by Stephen Paulello would benefit the tone color of those few last low tenor plainwire notes.
